3 Night Snorkel & Dive Getaway – 27th September 2023
Our 3-night adventure on September 27th burst into life with a surprise guest, a majestic Goliath Grouper, gracing us on our very first dive. But this tour had more in store – it was a turtle extravaganza, with these ancient mariners surrounding us at every turn.
Turtles, from the small and serene to the wise and weathered, were everywhere. Alongside them danced trevally, sweetlips, sailfin catfish, bannerfish, and the graceful stingrays. Crayfish and octopuses tried to hide in their crevice’s only to be spied by our keen crew, while a tawny nurse shark was taken by surprise by our group of snorkellers. A weary white-tip shark eyed us from a cave, while a cute little epaulette shark hid deep I a hole trying to nap.
Yet, the true stars of this tour were the mantas, putting on a mesmerizing show as they twisted and spiralled around us, like ethereal dancers of the deep. Every dive was a revelation, a reminder that the ocean holds endless wonders waiting to be discovered.
