Our first 5-night escape of the season, departing March 6th, was blessed with absolute perfection: glassy turquoise waters, warm sunshine, and ideal conditions for exploring the back of the reef. We were joined by a lucky family of four, and there is truly nothing more special than seeing the wonder in a child`s eyes as they discover the magic of the ocean.

The wildlife was out in full force! We encountered a fantastic variety of sharks, including lemon, leopard, and reef sharks, alongside impressive porcupine and whiptail stingrays. The reef was teeming with life, from a massive Goliath grouper and colorful sweetlips to playful dolphins and a curious octopus.

Beyond the deep blue, we had a blast playing on the Frazer Island sandbank and exploring the history of the shallow Fin shipwreck. It was a trip filled with laughter, discovery, and perfect Ningaloo moments.

March 2nd Season Opener!

And we’re off! Our first trip of the 2026 season kicked off on March 2nd with eight incredibly excited guests. The reef didn`t disappoint for our season opener. We were treated to some truly epic manta magic moments that stood as the clear highlight of the getaway.

The encounters just kept coming, from graceful dolphins and peaceful turtles to large stingrays and sleek sharks. We even witnessed huge schools of fish pulsing off the back of the reef. However, the crowd favorite was a spunky little leopard shark, who put on quite a show, twisting and turning in an effort to shake off a particularly stubborn (and likely annoying) remora! What a fantastic way to start the year.
