Our 3-night Ningaloo getaway departing June 23rd was a perfect blend of marine magic and pure relaxation!

We had incredible encounters with abundant turtles gracefully gliding through the clear waters and plenty of sleek white-tip reef sharks patrolling the reef.

The highlight was definitely spotting majestic mantas in the shallow waters, providing an unforgettable close-up experience! Beyond the amazing marine life, we enjoyed fantastic sailing under sunny skies, with plenty of moments spent relaxing on comfy bean bags – the perfect way to soak in the Ningaloo bliss.

There were plenty of sharks, including both Tawny Nurse and Leopard sharks sleeping peacefully on the ocean floor. The reef teemed with life, showcasing vibrant angelfish, darting damsels, and the striking patterns of pufferfish. We had magical encounters with mantas, enjoying their majestic presence as they glided effortlessly. A special highlight was spotting a curious octopus out and about, rather than hidden in its lair and a swim alongside a curious cuttlefish. Each day ended with those breathtaking orange sunsets enhanced by the mottled cloud patterning, painting the vast Ningaloo sky.

Our guided snorkel at The Maze in Coral Bay, WA was pure magic aboard Shore Thing. Towering coral bommies, schools of reef fish, and a surprise swim-by from a green sea turtle made this an experience we won’t forget.

🌿 Did you know?
πŸͺΈ Coral is actually aliveβ€”made up of tiny animals called polyps that build calcium carbonate skeletons.
πŸͺΈ Some corals glow in the dark (a process called biofluorescence) to protect themselves from UV rays!
