3 Night Snorkel & Dive Getaway – 20th September 2023
Our 3-night expedition on September 20th unfurled like a treasure trove of marine wonders. Grey reef sharks, dignified residents of the cleaning station, provided a thrilling spectacle. A sleepy tawny nurse shark, caught in an amusingly uncomfortable position, brought smiles to our faces.
Turtles floated around us with no effort at all, while different rays, including the spiky porcupine ray, scuttled gracefully along the reef floor. The underwater world revealed a stunning Undulated moray eel adorned in green and yellow, and zippy striped catfish added their vibrant energy to the scene.
Of course, the stars of the show were the breaching humpback whales, a hallmark of this season, and this tour was no exception. Barrel-rolling mantas added to the spectacle, and we were treated to the rare sight of a guitar shark, a true underwater gem.
This journey was a reminder that every dive holds the potential for extraordinary encounters, and the ocean’s mysteries continue to unfold before our eyes.
