3 Night Snorkel & Dive Getaway – 23rd September 2023
Our September 23rd journey was a global gathering, with a family from NSW, a couple from Florida, and two friends from Switzerland. As we ventured beneath the waves, the ocean unveiled its vibrant tapestry.
Trevally, sweetlips, catfish, angelfish, and turtles formed a living symphony of colours and shapes. Rays glided gracefully beneath us, and loggerheads lent an air of ancient wisdom to our encounters. Octopuses revealed their playful curiosity, while white-tip sharks patrolled the depths.
Whales resting nearby, their majestic presence a testament to the ocean’s grandeur but the true stars of our adventure were the dancing mantas – a breathtaking spectacle that left us in awe.
Among the underwater gems, we discovered a new nudibranch, a tiny but captivating creature unseen before by our crew. And a special sea slug, resembling a cloud in the water, added to the wonder.
